Consolation

I have come to expect losses from my Bruins when they are expected to win. This "inconsistency" in their game play is ironically the most consistent thing about them. The Trojans, on the other hand, appear to have finally confirmed what I and other Bruins always knew and what the rest of the bandwagon SC nation and national press have until now refused to admit: They are not national championship contenders. Apparently losing to an unranked Stanford team was not enough to convince everyone so Oregon had to close the deal.

"Nothing can jump on and off the bandwagon like Trojan fan." - Jim Rome

You said it, Romey.

Three Words: Boston Red Sox

Now I have to suffer through five months of no baseball. Thank God for football, basketball and hockey.

One Word: Unreal

I found this article while looking for links to download the new Radiohead album on their blog (Thom Yorke put a link up for it a few days after it was posted). It is so soul-crushingly depressing that it makes me want to weep. It is fairly long but worth the read. I wish I could say more about it but I feel as though I am in a mild form of shock.

9

This post is just for me. I know it seems a little absurd to post something just for me on a blog but, sometimes I go back and read old stuff just to remember what was going on at that time for me. For those of you who still read this blog, just pretend like this post doesn't exist. Thanks.

Mexican Buggers

My brother was kind enough to send me this link which contains an "interesting immigration editorial" (to use his words) written by Orson Scott Card. Please do enjoy. I know I did.
